Drunk Driver Crashes Marda Loop Sign
The big Marda Loop sign on 33rd, right out in front of Casablanca Video was crashed into last night/early this morning. From what I've heard from the construction workers trying to piece it together, and some of the other people at work today in the area, the driver was going 130 km, and was intoxicated at the time.
Everything is all word of mouth where I work, but it sounds expensive.
What are people thinking, not only driving drunk, but 130 km in a 50.

IMO if you get a DUI you should be ridiculed until the end of time.
Drinking and driving is one of the stupidest things you can possibly do.
Would you have piped up if he had said Nick Nolte?

At least Chaisson was kind enough to kill himself rather than someone else.
Count me in the group that has no respect for drunk drivers, no matter who or what they represent.

I'd almost call it a blessing - this way the community gets a sign that doesn't quite scream 1990.
Of course they'll probably just order the same exact sign.

I think its funny...
Its not our fault Mactipsy got slammed and killed someone behind the wheel.........why are we supposed to not talk about it? Beacause he is an NHL coach? I think a few jokes at his expense is a fair deal considering he took life from an inncocent person.

Yeah, I bet her family would appreciate you using that in something so trivial as a ****ing contest over hockey teams as well.

And you have the gaul to actually know what the family wants in this situation when your piece of **** coach killed her?
I'm sure they are sitting back at home hoping no one is talking ill of MacT and the terrible act he committed.

Annother ruined thread... nice work. Had I known that Chaisson and McTavish's accidents would have come up, I wouldn't have started this thread. I just thought it was in the afternoon, and no one posted about it.

I drive by that way every day and the area looks completely different without that structure. Fortunately, it hasn't affected my morning drive into work at this point.
