Default 7-11... Free Sluprees?

I could have swarn that 7-Eleven did free slurpees last year on 07/11. Anyone know if they are doing it this year? I could sure go for a cold one right now, and a slurpee too.

I remember getting them with my friends all the time when I was young, but I'd only ever finish about a 1/3 of it...

Yes they are. I saw an ad or article about it in the Lethbridge Herald. They are doing it all across Canada.

I just remembered something about it though. I think they were giving out free slurpees to the first 1000 people (per store).

Looks like I was in the Slurpee capital(Winnipeg) a couple days too soon. I did get one though for the ride back home. I'm lucky if I get a Slurpee once a year. We have slush here but it's nothing compared to Slurpees.

I saw the cups this morning when I was there, they were tiny, don't think they'd let you fill up 20 of them then put them in a regular cup.

Am I the only one who can't drink those things? I get severe gut rot if a drink more than just a few sips.

I don't drinks them much anymore but it's got more to do with working around them 5 days a week, rather than getting pain from then. We have a really tiny slurpee out now that's only 99 cents it doesn't hold more than a few sips anyways lol.

Why is Winnipeg the slurpee capital or is that some kind of double entendre?

Winnipeg sells more Slurpee's than any other city in the Entire world.

any guess's as to which city is #2?

I'll give a free slurpee to the 1st person with the right answer, but you have to come to my store while I'm working.

Most Slurpees sold in a year. I think they've been the winner for seven years straight now. Calgary finished second this year and Detroit third.
