Default the only All Star game worth watching....

at least something's on the line here. Nice finish, the poor NL gags in the 9th to lose again. Glaus was part of the heroics and BJ Ryan gets the win.

Actually, with the excepton of the top of the 9th, I found the whole thing boring. 3-2 in an all-star baseball game? Bleah.

The thing is I don't think its the home field advantage thing that creates the competitive atmosphere. Its the managers - Guillen and Garner are two guys that loathe losing. That's what you need. The attitude starts with the manager and filters down to the players.

Vernon Wells also threw out a runner at Home, this turned out to be a huge play.

GO RANGERS GO

We're #1 in the AL West for a reason (tied with Oakland, and yeah our division sucks, but let me have my moment of glory would ya, you know we're gonna choke down the stretch, lol)

I was pretty annoyed when Fox was showing a recap of the scoring and entirely missed a line-out to end the 8th. Oops.

Fer God sakes, show the game and fill in the gaps. When your filler becomes more important than the game, I tune you out entirely.

Or when Bonnie Bernstein was interviewing the Met player's (I forget his name) Dad and asking stupid questions like, "Who's your pick for MVP?" Come on, stop wasting our time.
