How much do gas prices go up this Canada Day Long Weekend?
Well the Long weekend is coming which means we will be due for a large pump increase on about June 29th. So make your predictions people what will the posted price be? And for bonus points what excuse will they use.
Mine: 112.9 sign price
Excuse: Too much rain making transportation costs higher... bla bla bla, and some hurricane thing coming.

Excuse - It's simple supply & demand, and demand has increased for the weekend.

It's not simple supply and demand. The fuel is there. They know when long weekends are coming and they have the supplies. They don't run out of fuel and then jack the price up to lower demand. Demand will remain the same. It is an excuse.
Ticks me off when you can buy a litre of fuel in Saudi Arabia for 9 cents.

With the GST cut on July 1, the price should go down.
Anyone wanna take bets on that happening?

it didn't go up over May long weekend... so maybe it won't this time... to be safe, I'm topping off on Wednesday.
If it goes up... 108.9 (5c more than present)

$1.13 sign price, I say a .10 jump is realistic.

What a shock! Gas went up 5 cents on Tuesday. I guess thunderball wins for now. Weekend is still a few days away.
