Default Cool things to do for an office team event?

So, I've been given free reign to do a little something for my 3 staff at work. Which typically means for a "team building" event/activity like golf or something like that.

We're bound by the following constraints:
- has to be on a Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday and has to be short enough to be done in a day (no crazy trips to the Yukon)
- ideally it would be done after work, but we could spare an afternoon.
- Nothing too physical as one staff member isn't too keen on that (ie DH mountain biking)
- costs need to be within reason.
- needs to be fairly easy to pull off, we're hella busy here right now and I thought a little event might be a nice thing to do. Don't want to do anything that takes a lot of logistical work!
- Staff are all under 30 (cough*exceptforme*cough). Two guys, 1 girl.

Originally I was going to take em to the Horse Races at Stampede Park but that fell through as they only race on Weekends and Fridays. I'm out of ideas and don't want to default to the boring golf options and was hoping the hellcats on CP might have some suggestions - anybody done something cool lately?

A few months ago, my team went go cart racing. Unfortunately the place we went (by 16th and deerfoot) shut down, but it was a fun time.

We did the laserquest thing. It was a hit even with the Ladies in the office. They are located down near Southland just off Macleod.

Rafting on the Kananaskis. The river is pretty tame but has a couple areas of fun. The guides can basically drive the boats themselves so the amount of physical required doesn't need to be big, less than mountain biking anyway. InsideOut Experience puts on an excellent tour. See if they can do something for half a day during the week.

Rent a c-train and have a booze cruise?
Bowling, we did that last week, its alright.
Take a sushi making class (and drink sake too)
It's not called TEAM building for nothing, is it? Nothing like a good ol spit roast!!

What about skydiving? Scare the hell out of everyone, but it's apparently quite the rush. Just don't go to Beiseker.....you might come back one or two short.

One thing that my work did was go to the Eau Claire theaters. They had a little buffet of wings, nachos etc. and rented a few pool tables. Also we got some tokens for the video games. That was pretty fun. Good way to kill a few hours also you can set up teams of 2 and play pool or bubble\air hockey etc.

Thanks everyone some good ideas, but with 4 of us it doesn't quite fill out a raft or make for good laser tagging. Go karting would have been fun, too bad Ricky Bob's shut down in Airdrie! I'm toying with the idea of the "bullet" out at COP followed by dinner. *EDIT, that looks to be a winter only thing, duh*

How about cool places for dinner/food? (ie dinner with some sort of activity, a la Stampede park)

I belive the actually have one that is on wheels that they do in the summer. ANd if they don't do that anymore, they can keep the ice on the track well into the summer so it's may still be possible to do the bullet.

Either way I don't think it'd be a very good team building event.
I've done the bullet before (and real bobsledding) and you pretty much ride a tuck up, jump in the sled, fly down the track for a minute and you're done. It's really fun, but it kind of defeats the purpose of "Team Building", and it is over really quickly.
