A frriend of mine is having the same problems. I presume you are on Shaw? Her TV and phone are down, and her internet is flaky.

My TV is down. Telus internet is fine.

Also, if you are referring to the hockey game, it isnt until Saturday. Though I doubt this outage will last nearly that long.

I've been having problems with my internet, it might be all the porn but I'll still blame shaw for it. I don't have cable, I have a dish, it's fine.

Oh, the irony. Cable companies talk about weather being a reason not to get satellite. The last few days I've had the odd blip of lost signal, but cable people are without TV.

(Sorry for feeling good about your pain.)

Shaw's entire service in southern alberta went down... still certain things are acting up. I'm pretty sure they blew a couple nodes from the stroms.

Anybody else having issues with Shaw's mail server not accepting their password? All 3 of my addresses are doing it, and from what Shaw told me last time I they span 2 different mail servers.

My shaw mail isn't working either. Mine doesn't even get to the password part. Just error when I do send/receive. Hopefully it is fixed soon.

Yup, my connection to Shaw through Outlook still isn't working, and it's been over 12 hrs now.

Man, I hate this. I should just tell everyone to send mail to my Gmail account. Can never go wrong with them.

I heard there was a big traffic accident near the hub site that took out all the power to it. All services are working now except for some e-mail.
