Default Huge meteor strikes Norway...

... and we hear nothing about it?

I guess the media was too busy telling us about al Zarqawi every 30 seconds.

I heard about this, but I thought it was strange that no major news networks picked it up. I was wondering if it really happened or not.

I find it kind of strange that Norway has been hit twice in the past hundred years or so, with such huge meteors.

If you flip to the Norwegian-language version of the website (of which I can read a bit), the major stories are a couple of domestic items, coverage of the Sri Lankan peace talks (which Norway is brokering), as well as World Cup coverage. The big ol' rock from outer space is well down the list.

My brother lives near the impact site. Be a shame if he was vaporized.
