$22 million, eh? But its never been about the money for Roger.

I guess his sons Kory, Kody, Kooky and Krazy are all getting to the age where they are asking dad to buy them a Kadillac for their birthday.

I must say I do like how much of that story was dedicated to just how much Roger would actually make depending on when he joins the Astros. Nothing sums up Clemens' carreer like "How much money is he making?"

and how annoying are these multiple retirements. I can see coming back once maybe. But either play or retire.

Thumbs down 3.5 a month!!

I heard on the score he's going to get 3.5 million a month when he comes back. How many starts can you have a month like six? A little more then half a million a game is ridiculous. Is Clemens still that good?

Clemens had the best ERA of any starter in MLB last season, so I guess if you are going to pay someone, you'd pay him. His win totals didn't reflect that since Houston had severe problems scoring runs in his starts otherwise he'd have another CY in his book.

Thank god he didn't sign with Boston/New York.

He didn't retire after this offseaon. He was a free agent whose team refused to offer him arbitration.
