Default iPod Question

I've been screwing around with the thing off and on since I got it about a month ago. I downloaded this thing called "album cover finder" to help with some of the artwork. So it downloaded on my hard drive as a .dmg file but I can't figure out for the life of me how to import it into iTunes or onto the iPod. It's probably something quite easy that I'm missing, does anyone have the answer? I guess it's possible it doesn't work with windows.
Thanks.

I don't think that a .dmg file will work on a pc...that's been my experience. You should just buy an apple instead...your life would be much easier.

Try this:

It's album cover finder for Windows. I have a Mac, so I don't know if this works, but try it out.

Apples suck. OSX is a joke. Linux is more navigable, and that's sad.

Better make that: If don't use your computer for anything other than web browsing, MS Office, and Apple / Adobe software get a Mac ,you will never go back

Getting back on topic, for album covers, I just go to amazon.com and find the corresponding album, and drag the cover jpg to iTunes.

Is that like "An alBum Cover" from SNL Jeopardy? (Where Sean Connery refers to it as "Anal Bum Cover"

Hahaha! You've obviously never used a Mac.

How could I have an opinion without ever using one?

There are, unfortunately, too many Apple computers at my school, and if it is busy you often get stuck on one because everybody picks the PCs first. Nobody wants to use the POS Macs but sometimes there is no alternative.

Because your arguments are so well articulated. You must be able to navigate to some pretty cool things. I really wish my Mac had a registry so I could spend days navigating and looking at all that cool anti-spyware software. And BIOS rocks too.

I'm no computer expert. I just know the basics. Anything technical is beyond me.

All I'm saying is that an Apple is considerably harder to get things done on.

Sitting down and surfing the net or checking e-mail is not using a Mac. Use one, for work, for one month and you'll never buy a PC again. Ever.

That's all I do though. My computer is used for internet, email, music, movies and online poker. Every one of those things is better done with a PC.

And since switching to Mozilla browsers I have not had one virus, so even that is not a problem.

What makes a Mac so good? Since I'm obviously a low end user that knows nothing, please inform me why they are so good.

None of those things are any different on a Mac. Macs offer a stable, modern OS that was designed by the company that wrote the book on interface design. Difficulties arise when Windows users use a Mac and try to do things like they do in Windows. When it is explained to them why it is different on a Mac, every Windows user I've ever shown agrees that it makes more sense.

I can have you editing a full HD movie within 10 minutes of sitting down at the computer. Things are not more difficult on a Mac.
