Default Season 5 of 24 - Winding down...

What's been a solid season, compared to the 3 of the 4 previous I have seen before, is winding down.

Tonight, however, for the first time this year, suffered a bit from some of the logistical issues that the middle of last year (Airforce 1 going down) suffered through.

Plus, seems like they are rushing a fair number of twists and turns..which are fine, but they aren't playing out with the same amount of time (and impact) as twists earlier in the season.

The biggest issue I had tonight was the Russian Sub angle. Why is a sub with a fully stocked and armed missle bay, sitting in a non-guarded, non-military dock in the middle of a LA harbour? You can't get within 3km of unarmed US Subs on Vancouver Island, who are there for deep sea training exercises.

Nevermind that the American Navy on boat got there quick..as part of the treaty that the president signed a mere 20 hours earlier. International politics doesn't work that quickly.

But, the 2 hr season finale was phenomenal last year, and has been for most of the other 3 seasons I saw, and I expect this season to be the same from the clips shown.

Killer season. I'm dissapointed it ends next week.

I really hope they don't just forget about this Logan/recording story, and focus on entirely on the Nuclear sub issue.

What I hope happens next week: Henderson gets killed, Logan gets locked up for a very long time...and Jack kicks the crap out of Miles.

Also, we better find out who it is Logan keeps talking to. That mysterious bald guy. Any guesses?

I got screwed out of watching this episode cause the guide on my starchoice system showed 24 on from 9-10. So my wife set it to tape at that time. Well, it seems that global decided to show Prison Break from 9-10 and move 24 to 10-11.

Any suggestions as to alternate viewing times. Or is there a internet site that details the episodes after the fact?

I am thinking the bald guy is just part of a group of American companies who leverage politics. Much like that on Prison Break. Thats my guess.

Yup pretty good finale. Maybe not quite as good as last years, as there wasn't quite the same twist, or, the twist was a bit more predictable...

Not to give too much away until the finale been shown locally, but I don't think there's anyway there can be a year and a half go by, before the season begins again in a (long) 8 months after Superbowl.

Excellent finale from what I saw. Missed some parts since my Bell satellite went down for a bit when it rained. LOL

Jan.2007 seems so long away.

Great season.. predictable ending though.

This is the first time I've actually watched it on TV.. the previous seasons I've watched on DVD. I think I like the DVD way better ..but it takes too long for them to be released.

Can't wait till next season

Edit: Was anybody else getting horrible reception on Global and Fox??
