I think what you do with the glasses is take them out and put in a plug at night so the holes don't close. On the other hand, the brass knuckles are disgusting.

looking at that site, it looks like there's a bar that goes across the bridge of your nose, then the lenses get screwed into that bar? I didn't read too closely because it gave me the willies

After reading the article, it's not a bad idea actually. There are two ways of doing it I guess, you could do it with magnets, or screws. The magnets would be easier to remove the glasses at the end of the day. Either way though, you end up with stuff on either side of your nose... not the regular barbell endings.
