They are...this is a political play to the 'new Canadians' in the 416 and 905 areas. Both the Liberals and Conservatives ran on lowering the immigration fee.

It is Harper playing the political game very well..

Basically, he has to do moves like this to get himself a majority for the next election. If and when that happens then the real conservative changes will take root....

Keeping the far RWers in check for these next few years is key...

Quite frankley the most amazing thing is a government actually sticking to promises made during the election... i didnt think that ever happened.

So a party actually sticks to there promise but OOOoooo there very bad, they have a hidden agenda, there just trying to buy votes OOOOOooo. Got to keep the right wing in check OOOOoooo. Helping immigrants now is there plan to prevent them from coming in the future OOOOoooo. Steven Harper just wants more babies to eat OOOoooo. We better just elect the liberals at least they lie to us and promise the world but we dont have to worry about them deleivering all there election promises.

Actually, over 40% of the total Immigrant children (and almost 60% for adults) in this country are, infact, Asian. Less than 30% are European and even less for Adults.

I think it's the other way around.
