Everyone is entitled to their own opinion..
I haven't been a fan of Flogging Molly's stuff in the past, hopefully this one is better.

I agree 100% Peter12, I got this album a few days ago.. Its very very good... Take away the punk aspect and you have irish music, and take away the irish music and you have punk music... Such a great cd. I've been listening to it straight since I got it. Probably about 10 times by now..

I'm on my 15th or so listen. Swagger and Drunken Lullabies were really good and I would say this one blows the other 2 out of the water.
Dave King has got a wicked voice.

About Flogging Molly (from allmusic.com):
Biography by MacKenzie Wilson
The Los Angeles-based post-grunge six-piece Flogging Molly is a interesting mix of traditional Irish music and spunky punk rock. Former Fastway acoustic guitarist/frontman and Dublin native Dave King formed the band with fiddle player Bridget Regan, guitarist Dennis Casey, accordion player Matt Hensley, bassist Nathen Maxwell, drummer George Schwindt, and mandolinist Bob Schmidt. Their rowdy folk-rock punk revival sound has been compared to the likes of other Irish bands such as the Pogues and Black 47, but the raucous septet opted for their own brashness. Flogging Molly released their debut Swagger in March 2000.
Looks worth a listen. I love the Pogues.
My favorite albums this year:
Modest Mouse - Good News ...
The Fall - The New Fall LP
Los Lobos - The Ride
Libertines - Libertines
Matt Pond PA - Emblems
Mission of Burma - ONOFFON
Prince - Musicology
Pixies - Live in Calgary
Sonic Youth - Sonic Nurse
Ween - Live in Chicago

Well, I might as well add one to the list. If you are into the weird lyrics and cool song stylings of Cake they have a new CD out.. Pressure Chief. Very good CD.
