Wild Drop Game One

Well its not like they haven't been here before.

Indeed - in all but one of the series in the last 2 years, the Wild have dropped the first game. On Saturday it was the same story as the Thrashers downed the Wild 4-3 in game 1 of the CPHL finals.

GM Farhall said the team showed it can compete with Atlanta, but some work is required...

"We didn't get enough shots. If we are going to win this series we have to test Snow more than we did today. Cujo gave us a chance to win and we didn't take it".

Farhall also noted, more is needed for the Wild leading scorer.

"Marian (Hossa) has been quiet the last 2 games and he's been our offensive catalyst since he arrived in Minny. We are going to have to find a way to get his game going.".
