Jets make vets available
Jets GM Walsh released a statement early Wednesday which announced the organization has decided to put the following the veterans on the trade block.
C-Pierre Turgeon
F-Stu Barnes
RW-Mark Recchi
RW-Scott Young
D-Sandis Ozolinsh
D-Chris Therien
G- Jani Hurme
These players all played a key role in the Jets successful regular season and probably have a year or 2 left in each of them. The Jets are looking to get alittle younger. This does not mean we will trade vets for prospects, secondly quantity does not make for quality. 3 for 1 offers probably won't help you much, especially if you are offering 3 kids. John Leclair has already been moved.
