Default Urgent! Need general admission info!

Hey!

I won the opportunity to buy game 7 tickets, unfortunately, all I came up with are the Black section, general admission seating.

Can anyone tell me what that means, and if need be, provide some tips on how to score the best seat?

Thanks in advance,
rico

I think that is the SportsChek Zone or whatever.

What that means is your ticket will have a row number and seat number on it and it doesn't mean a bleeping thing. When the towers and main doors open up, it will be the closest thing you've ever seen to a heard of cattle on the run. Unless you grew up on a farm.

You pick your seat. I did this once, for game 4 in '04 vs San Jose. I picked my seat 2 1/2 hours before the game began and didn't leave it. I sat in the third row then, if I'd waited until game time I would have struggled to find a single seat for myself at the very top row. It's kind of...terrible.

From what I remember, your ticket will have a seat number but it will also say GA (as in General Admission). Which means the seat number doesn't matter. Make sure you get their early and make sure you are lined up for the correct side. One side is Sportchek the other is the fanzone or something like that. I'm in the bleeders tomorrow and am planning on being their for 5:00

That's just the way the ticket is printed, it means nothing.

It's first come, first serve.

I won seats too, but just got the email
I'm up in the bleeds (Was there for games 2 and 5) And you don't have to go for the mad rush 2 hours before game time (unless you need some extra drinking time).

Go about 1 hour before, and you'll find 6th row + and good location. If you show up 10 minutes before the puck drop, you'll be touching the saddle.

BEAWARE:

Make sure you find out which zone is which. There is a difference between the general and sport zones. They have security checking tickets at the top, and if your not in the right zone, they'll send you across the dome, and you have to hike up 15,000 stairs again. We did this during the mad rush, went to the wrong end, rushed over to the other side, got 2 wicked seats... and the 2 next to us didn't fill until about 45-30 mins before the game.

Its really tricky.

So, a question for you guys. Here's the deal. Me and my buddy with seats in the 200's can get there early, but our friends who have seats in the SC section can't get there until later. We were thinking of going and getting seats for our friends, then when they come giving them to them and going down to our reserved seats.

Easiest plan is we just go up to the seats. We could arrange to swap tickets, but that would be a huge PITA.

For those of you who have been there, should we go through the bother of swapping our tickets around? Any other flaws in our plan you guys can see?

Well, security does check the ticket twice.... once at the door, and once at the top of the stairs. Don't know what they'd say about a 200 level ticket saving a seat for a buddy.

yeah, dont be a dick and let the people who bought the 300s get the 300s.

how would you feel if some guys friends from the lower bowl saved seats that you had a right to? it goes both ways.

of course, if you want to trade your 200s for my 300s plus cash, pm me

It's not so much being a dick; one of 2 things are going to happen. Either I save the seats as both of us in the 200's are off work early, or my buddy in the 300's takes 2 hours off work to come down early. Either way the seats will be sat in.

And in the 4 times thoughout the regualr season when I had SC seats; there was always seat saving going on.

As for the trade offer; I respectfully decline.
