This is pretty cool to play with, you can see the search trends for any search term and compare them to other terms.

wow...finally solves the debate for me. Lethbridge really is Flames country.

Interesting fact: If you look back as far as possible, you can see March '04, just as the Flames and Oilers were making playoff runs. Both teams were pretty much dead even at that point, which goes to show IMO just how close the two teams fanbases are in numbers. Of course from the '04 run and beyond the bandwagon rolled through.
