GMs please read!!! - Playoff GMs and others.
OK just cuz some guys aint in the playoffs doesnt mean theres nuffin to do.
Playoff GMs...the 3 files in the zip file are now cphlPLF files...make sure you are running the playoff format files.
Waivers. Now that the reg season is done we are relaxing the waiver rule so that some teams dont get crazy waiving valued UFAs and having another team pick them up. Until the playoffs are done all teams are free to waive players directly to the farm...and bring them up...this will help playoff teams with fill-ins until they are finished.
Special Considerations. Check your roster page. email cphltrade with any specials that are lingering that are no longer valid so we can deleete them. Make sure you conform with the other gm as to the validity.
Sim rosters. Make sure that what is on the sim is on your website roster. You should be doing this anyways...but now Im askin ya.
Playoff Injuries. Rotoworld at times does not update those who are out of the playoffs. If a playoff player in the NHL is alive at the same time we are playing Rotoworld rules. If however there is disparity when a player in the NHL is eliminated the CPHL will allow lenience. If for instance Roto says player is out for two weeks we will follow that timeline exactly if he is not updated. We will also look at other IR stuff as need be.
Watchdog and cap. Yep they are still alive until after the playoffs. We might be a bit more lenient...but not much.
Buyouts. Non playoff and playoff GMs may want to buy players out now that they dont want under this years cap....if they have the cap available. If you wait it will go against next years $$$$.
Trades. Freeze is on until playoffs are done. You CAN however negotiate deals on the side and in fact make a deal with emails covering your a$$ between each other. The CPHL does NOT want these emails. We will enforce any deal made and agreed with emails to each GM after the playoffs UNLESS a new GM has taken over a team involved. It might be valuable for non playoff teams to start looking at deals NOW for those teams who may be over cap when playoffs are done.
