Default Bike Stolen

Hey guys,

Saw someone else post about doing some stuff to their bike, and it brought a tear to my eye.

My bike was stolen this past weekend, and I hadn't really took the chance to ride it just yet. Got it from my parents, who bought it at a garage sale last year, and it stayed in my basement in Red Deer, only be ridden once.

It was being stored at my parents house, and when my dad went to mow his lawn, he left the fence gate open, exposing my bike. It wasn't locked up, it was just leaning against the tree.

Basically it wasn't taken care of, and I know I deserve having it stolen if I wasn't locking the thing up.

Anyways... If anyone sees someone riding a yellow Head dual suspension bike, let me know. It was stolen in the NW of the city, but could be anywhere by now.

Thanks guys.

I know the feeling man. I had a CCM bike which I paid $300 for when I was about 13 about 10 years back. Had it until 2 years back when my sis used it and kept it in front of the house. Next thing she knew, it was gone. My neighbor had something to do with it - FN rotter - spoiled MF kid with no future, but lives off his dad's wealth- type kid. 2 years later, when I think about it, it still ****es me off at the greed and classlessness of others, but think of it this way...if they need to steal, they probably don't have a good life anyway. Thanks for bringing up my blood pressure though .

I understand, but sorta disagree. Just because it wasn't bolted to something doesn't give somebody the right to take it.

I feel for you man. Any pictures of the bike; for us vigilantees who don't know bikes?

Not trying to be racist or anything, but when I was really little I got a kick ass big wheel and the first week I had it these two little Indian kids stole it from my back yard.

*******s, I'm still not over it.

Best bet is to check the nearest pawn shops.

Wow man, that must suck. I really feel for you...

I agree with Ken though, even if you didn't lock it up, it doesn't give anybody the right to just take it. Didn't it use to be so safe that even if you didn't lock anything up, no one will take it??? What has seriously happened in Calgary I wonder...

I'll keep a look out, I am in two corners of the cities in a day, sometimes more, so I'll definitely look at that for you
