Default Around Calgary Day-Use Areas?

Hey guys,

Was planning on heading up to Elbow falls today for a BBQ, but it turns out it is closed until june for work.
Just wondering if anyone knows of any good day use areas like that around Calgary. (Looking for somewhere with firepits) (and not fish creek)

Thanks guys

Down toward Millarville, head west toward Quirk Creek gas plant.
Some really nice spots there.
Could also try down by Carsland weir.

Big hill springs park.
go north on highway 2 to highway 567, and go west
got fire pits, a small amount of walking area, a creek, etc.

I'll second the vote for Big Hill Spings, it's a nice park.
