Just got back from Motley Crue and what a stage show! I can't hear jack sh*t but at the top of my all time best concerts behind Korn and Metallica

If you haven't been and are hmm'ng and haa'ng bout spending the money...do it!

I'm not really a fan of the Crue but I've heard nothing but good things about their shows. Where was the concert?

Who was drumming?

I heard a Calgary guy had to fill in for Tommy Lee in Red Deer.

I've been told that a whole lot of their "live" show is tracked. Anyone can sound good when they aren't really playing....then again I hate Motley Crue so I probably wouldn't give them a fair shake anyway.

As we were walking in the door there was a disclaimer saying Tommy Lee wouldn't be performing because for medical reasons and anyone seeking a refund should do so before the show.

Tommy Lee was there and did play some piano and a little drumming in a solo routine with some techno stuff in the background (think Methods of Mayhem). When he wasn't drumming it was another guy but not sure where he was from.

As for the "tracked" performance, even if it was there was so much else going on with the pyrotechnics (never seen Pyro like that in my life), "little person" and showgirls that I didn't really care if it was tracked or not.

Was speaking with a guy who ran the cleanup after the show and he was saying that it was BY FAR the best show that has ever come to Lethbridge

BUT they didn't play "If I die tomorrow", which i thought would be the reason for the tour

Did Tommy do his DJ gig after the show? He was supposed to DJ at Roadhouse (or was that Ice Taps?) after the show.

Saw the Crue last weekend in Kelowna. Pretty good show, my hearing is just finally getting back to normal. Also saw them last year in Calgary, so it wasn't as a big surprise this time around, since it was pretty much an identical show.

One thing that was strange to me was at the Kelowna show (we had floor seats) there were quite a few younger guys in front of us (17-20ish?) who obviously didn't know about 90% of their songs. Just stood there, almost looked bored.

Why spend that much money on a concert if you're going to just stand there and look around the whole time? Whatever rows your boat, I guess........
