Wisdom Teeth
Well, I got them pulled yesterday... and I really regret not getting put under.. What an experience that was.... half of my gums weren't even frozen and did it ever hurt like hell...
Either way, was all hopped up on T3's last night, mmmm never experienced t3's before
I have stitches in 2 of the 3 holes, and whoever has had it done... when did you start eating real food?
I've been munching on sandwich meat just biting with my 2 front teeth... anyway, i know there was a thread a while back, but just wondering about the eating food. (Just because i don't want to have a big piece of steak stuck in my gaping mouth wounds.)

Maybe about a week before you feel comfortable chewing with your back teeth again.
Not a fun time but it could be worse. I also had mine done right in the chair and it took longer than expected. It wasn't fun but I managed.

I did pretty well, I was eating steak in a couple days. But my gums started to hurt again when my stitches started to come out.

I find that personal experiences with wisdom teeth extraction vary significantly. I was put under for mine (highly recommended, especially if they are impacted), and it was about three days before I could start eating somewhat normally and seven days before I ate steak/chicken.
I remember eating pasta after a few days and having it stuck in the holes, which was painful -- my advice is to err on the side of caution for at least three days. I ate a lot of soup and ice cream.
Also, if you're on T3 for any length of time, you might want to consider taking a stool softener. One of the side effects is clogged pipes...

ZOODLES! No chewing required. Sure you may crap out a zebra once or twice but that's what I ate when I got my root canal. Also, Carnation instant breakfast

chew at the front of your mouth for awhile. It's difficult to eat "real" food, but it's definitely possible.

Yeah... thats why im trying really hard to stay away from T3's and any other codeine latent drugs...
I did 2 double doses last night, and 1 single at 8am... haven't taken anything since. Doesn't hurt nearly as bad as it did last night.
Great excuse to be lazy and have a few days off and catch up on some new movies

lucky bugger, I was back bartending the next day.
My experience after having all 4 removed was relatively good. A good night on the T3's and a bag of frozen peas and I was good to go the next day, Ichiban worked wonders for me

Yeah, because my current job is technically "casual" until my summer job starts again in 1 week, i always have Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday off unless i pick up extra shifts.
This week... nah... ive go one of those new mcflury's on the way.. the chocolate egg cadbury thingys... mmmmm...
If i had to work today, it'd be no problem. Theyre more just sore than anything, but im afraid when i go to eat something, it'll bust open again and the blood gates will open again.

When I had my braces on for the 1st time and EVERYTHING hurt, I still found I could eat anything I want. Pizza, steak, salad, etc.
If I threw it into the food processor that is and blended it into a pulp. Pizza Pops worked quite nicely actually.

Man, I was wide awake when I had mine pulled, and even held the chisel when he broke two of them. I was out playing in a softball tournament the next day. Amazing what beer a 222's will do!

I had T3's and muscle relaxants and lots of pot as soon as I got home (back in my partying days) shared the T3's and relaxants. Pretty fun, but we didn't do too much. My buddy must have had too many relaxants because he wet the bed that night!

Odd story, but when I woke up after getting my wisdom's pulled, my shoes which were previously on, were gone and no one knew where they were! Anyways, after getting them pulled, the very next night I was out loaded on t3's, eating pizza, and drinking. Maybe not the smartest thing but meh, I'm still here.

Gargling with warm salty water may be the best option for cleaning the holes and eliminating the bad breath -- try to do it every hour or so for the first few days. It doesn't taste good, but it helps the healing should flush out anything that might be stuck (and causing a bad smell).
