Default Memorial Dr. Lane Reversal
Did anyone get caught up in this mess on Friday. The City says it will save westbound traffic on Memorial 4 minutes on their commute. Well guess what, I'm heading eastbound and it added 10 minutes to my commute.

The notifications have been there for about 2-3 weeks now at least.

No one who regularily uses that road should have been caught off-guard.

Are there more options for the Eastbound commuters than the westbound? Will it balance out in a couple weeks?

I was fully aware that it would be happening. I just didn't think that Eastbound would be so backed up. I certainly hope that it gets better as people get used to it. I found it odd that a lot of people they were interviewing on the radio and TV had no idea this was going to happen. They must live in a shell. It's been spoken about over the last several weeks, not to mention the big signs along memorial. Time to find another road to get home.

the lane reversal around bow trail seems to be equally effective, so i bet you'll see more trials like this...

They are putting in permanent gates on Bow Trail because its worked so well.
