And Sydor (78) wasnt in the 5 on 5 lineup. I think it was a mistake he is lucky not to regret.

Once again the man of the hour, this time Jamie Langenbrunner, turns up and sets up the game winner as the Thrashers pull all the stops to get a strangle hold on the series. “Hats off to Langenbrunner, he was a one man wreaking force today, it seemed like he was everywhere.” Commented Hurricanes GM Hanna “wild stuff, that’s all I can say”.

When asked about what appeared to be the Thrashers benching of All-Star defenceman Darryl Sydor Hanna responded “I guess they were resting him for Monday, after all Jamie had a solid two point game, doubtful Darryl could have played better anyways.”

The Hurricanes were quick to leave the stadium after the game and catch the plane back to Carolina and draw up a game plan to beat Patrick Lalime for Monday night. “I’ll have a few encouraging words to say to the guy’s before I fly out of Carolina”. As Hanna will be catching the connecting flight to Toronto to catch David Gilmour’s only two Canadian shows on the Sunday and Monday.

Rangers 4 - Panthers 1

Ouch.... Rangers play a terrible game today but Roloson was amazing. Every team hopes its goalie can steal a game once in awhile today was Roloson first steal. Hopefully the Rangers can rebound and play a better game..... Or the Panthers will start to score.

Sorry for being awol...wife held a big surprise party and recovery is slow.

Allegations of cheating kind of bother me...the lines I sent in didnt have Langenbrunner on defence so I guess we'll mark it down to the sim gods just liking the Thrashers today.
Subtract the 2 points Jamie got and the Thrash still smoke the Canes 4-1.
Depth is shining through....hoping to get Guerin back for game 3 in Carolina.
