I once saw a Geo Metro with spinners. It was more stupid than ugly, but I think it still qualifies for this thread. On a related note, I didn't even know they made 13' spinners untill then.

The Pinto has a certain charm to it, but it's still ugly, and it blows up when bumped from behind.

Ooooh I forgot about the Honda Insight. That thing is all sorts of Ugly, plus it's bad for the oil industry.

I agree with these 4 wholeheartedly. How did the manufacturers miss this? Did they not look at the prototypes?

If a car could be gay it would be this one. all they need is shocking pink color

^ Its all about aerodynamics with that car. I think they figure the driver won't care if it looks bad/only seats 2/can't carry cargo. But atleast its fast. Oh wait. Whats it good for again?

Those Renault LeCar's were something else too. Although I think the Pinto/Bobcat duo do edge them out in this category.

It's good for laughs. otherwise i don't know why anyone would buy this? theres no cargo room. you can barely fit a backpack because the battery back then was huge. It would actually look kinda cool if it didn't have the pantyhose.

A good friend has an Aztec. It is amazing how much of an affront this car is to many people. More than once, people have left notes on his windshield, taunting him about how ugly his car is. People must really hate this car to do that. I don't understand it myself. It is just a car.

LOL! I actually passed on of these last week on the Interstate in Montana. I was doing 130. I stopped for gas and a meal about an hour later. Just as we were leaving, he was pulling into the service station. Too funny! I couldn't believe this thing was still on the road.
I'd cast my vote on the Volkswagen Thing. Nasty looking car.

Oh Habernac how could you not like The Thing? Its clearly one of those "so ugly its pretty" things.
My vote for ugliest car is the Dodge Aries/Plymouth Reliant - the most boooooring car ever. Boxy like a Volvo but crappy like a Pinto.
