So I hear today that he just moved into 12th on the all time homerun list. Than I got thinking how after he moved to Cinci how he sort of fell out of the lime light, as he stopped hitting the crazy amount of homeruns that all the other guys did. But he's always been pretty skinny, and amazingly with age and injuries his production did slow down like a normal human being would. Now I never really like how he sort have held the Mariners hostage into trading him back East, and practically dictated that he go to Cincinatti. Also the Reds have done nothing since he became a member of the Reds. But with all the steroid issues and the like surrounding the game right now, I wonder if a guy like Griffey got forgotten about because he put up normal stats while others put up super human stats with a bit of help.

It is the injury problems which have really plagued him and kept him out of the spotlight.

Reds have also been just plain terrible apart from Adam Dunn.
