Calgarians Wanted. Win a pair of Flames tickets!

(Note to Mods: I hope it's ok for me to post this here. We are a Not for Profit Organization serving the Calgary Community. I had posted this in CP Power Rings, but it wasn't getting a lot of views.)


The all-new MyCalgary.ca is an online community that allows Calgarians to voice their opinions, comments and discuss various topics with one another. Among many other features, MyCalgary.ca offers discussion forums, photo galleries, a links directory, marketplace and the latest local news.

To help re-launch and promote MyCalgary.ca, I will be giving out a pair of tickets to the last Flames regular season home game. The game is on April 13 against the division rivals, Colorado Avalanche.

The contest will go from March 2- April 6, 2006. At noon local time on April 6, the top 3 forum members with the most posts at the time will be entered into a poll. The rest of the forum members will vote on which poster that they think contributed the most to the site. In other words, we are looking for people to contribute to the forum, not just flood it. The elected member wins the pair of Flames tickets. Voting will end at noon on April 11. I will immediately contact the winner to arrange pickup. The runner-ups will each receive a complimentary prize.

Calgarypuck is a great site! There are no doubts about it. I'm here daily, if not hourly reading about the Flames.

By no means am I asking you to leave Calgarypuck. I'm just hoping MyCalgary would be a good complement to Calgarypuck. I developed MyCalgary to allow Calgarians to talk about other topics instead of all Flames, all the time.
