What a great series the Wild/Jets is...the Wild now have a great chance to win it at home, clearly they now have trhe advantage!

Well Dunham wasn't great in the late end of the series but he was good enough to get the Wings into the second round. Congrats to the Wings.

A Little Slice of 7th Heaven

For the 2nd consecutive year the Wild will play a game 7 in the first round of the playoffs.

The team forced the final game with a 5-3 win over the Jets, the first regulation win for the Wild over the Jets this year.

The team was led by a number of players that were called out prior to game 6 including Jeremy Roenick who had 3 points and Kristian Huselius and Saku Koivu who each scored their first goals of the post-season.

After the game Farhall commented.

"Certainly we had some players finally wakup tonight, but we need them to be just as good tomorrow. The Jets are an experienced group...they will not let the prospects of a game 7 get to their nerves. Its gonna be a doozzy".

The Wild also offer congratulations to the Wings for the first round win - a big step forward for that team, and to the Preds for a good season.

Wild come strong and force game 7. The Minnesota faced the win or go home game on Sunday and they came out on fire and scored 3 goals in the first 9:48 of the game. The Jets made it 3-2 early in the third but 2 more goals by Wild set the stage for a game 7. Not much of a report today as I am headed back to Athabasca. Good luck to Wild in Game 7.
