Calgary Canucks beat Olds 4-3 in quadruple overtime this morning to take a 2-1 series lead in their first round palyoff series. They have a chance to wrap it up later tonight, at Max Bell. I'm kinda ****ed the Flames are playing tonight. After this game, I would have loved to have gone back and seen game four.

And if we thought Kipper and Pogge were great, Pat Inglis has made over 110 saves in his last two games for the Canucks, bringing the massive underdogs on the verge of an upset. There is something about goaltenders and Calgary right now...

I was hoping they would have scored earlier, as we had the 10:30pm ice slot at Max Bell last night. Good to hear that the home team won. Went home after the 6th period. The referee was pretty sad. Not a big fan of the "put away the whistle" way of calling a playoff game. Hooking, high sticking, tripping, gang tackling. That's not hockey.

But that *IS* AJHL hockey. It has one of the most lax enforcement standards of all leagues on the face of the planet.
