Need to find Chaplin movies!

Ok, I'm screwed, I need to write a paper on some Charlie Chaplin films due on Monday. I need to find copies of The Great Dictator and Monsieur Verdoux and I'm an idiot and waited this long.

The library doesn't have any, neither does Blockbuster. I checked Best Buy and Futureshop's website (too late to go to the store tonight) and they have some collections but the check in store stock isn't working and it's more likely it's only online. They are also very expensive.

Anyone know how I can get these films by tomorrrow afternoon?

Try giving Casablanca Video a call to see if they carry them.

that blog has a collection of public domain films, you might want to check there as I'm guessing chaplin flicks will be public domain now.

edit: sorry, I just looked through, and I don't see any chaplin titles.

There are hundreds of videostores in town and lots of them have a much better or at least different selection than Blockbuster. Charlie Chaplin movies aren't exactly obscure. Pull out the yellow pages and start dialing.

Or get a doctor's note and push back the due date on your paper.
