Good day in the Calgary Herald where The Gopher Hole Museum in Torrington, Alberta is profiled.

Little gophers, dressed as church ministers, bikers, Olympic athletes and bathing beauties.

Even animal rights activists are laying off.

"Sure, we took some flak, but it got the word out," says the museum's director unapologetically. "There are animals out there that need saving, but the gopher isn't one of them."

Hurrah!!

"We average around 6,200 visitors a summer," says Kurta of the museum, open from June 1 to Sept. 30. "Over the years, I've only had about a dozen people come in and walk out disgusted."

Gopher Hole museum? You should try to take your dogs there just to watch them go crazy and try to dig up all the holes and capture all the gophers...
