The Arizona Republic reports that Phoenix Suns President and General Manager Bryan Colangelo met with the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday and is close to accepting their post as general manager.

I dont' get it. Why would he leave a perfectly good organization like the Suns to come to the Raptors? Must be that he thinks the Suns are going down and wants a challenge...

Looks like the deal is about to get finalized today. Still in shock why this guy would leave PHX to come to Toronto. Either way, this is defintley a great signing. Could this be the end of Sam Mitchell however?

I think a salary of three times the amount he's making now is a reason. And with his dad as the Suns CEO, it's given him the freedom to pursue the position.
