I have the Quake 2 demo. If you want to play a modem game,PM me with your msn and then ill add ya and send the game..then we can have a huge battle. Anyone interested?

If you are looking for free then grab Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Based of the quake engine and lots of fun.

The company was going to sell the game, but got bought out and the plug was pulled. But they were allowed to finish the online portion and release it for free. Probably the best free game I've tried.

I used to be able to hold my own online, but stopped playing for a while and when I went back I got my ass handed to me. It would be fun to play with some people who aren't "crazy good".

If you go to the main Activision site for Wolfenstein (here) and click on Enemy Territory, you will get the list of servers that you can download the game from. Look for a server that has the "stock" maps (to save you some extra downloading) and try out the different sides and classes.
