Top Gear winter Olympics

Not sure if anyone has BBC World but this weekend Top Gear celebrated the winter olympics with such events as:

Biathalon - james drove an Audi Q7 and Jeremey a Volvo QC90 around the Lillehammer biathalon course. Had to do shooting standing up as well as lying in the back of the station wagons.

Off road speed slalom dance skating - competition between a RangerRover (James) and Jaguar (jeremy) on a frozen lake.

Speed Skating - Jaguar (Jeremy) vs a speed skater

Ski jump - a rocket powered mini on a ski jump

Hockey - two teams of 5 players driving Suzuki swifts with one giant puck. Full contact.

And an endurance test...who would break first Hammond or a Citreon C1 in the cold.

And The Stig does the ski jump on a snowmobile.

A very entertaining hour of television.

I thought it was ho hum and boring.

The humour in that show is pretty damn bad.

You just have no British Sensibilities :P Top Gear is one of the funniest (albeit scripted) shows on television with many running jokes.

i love the show, i got hooked on it a couple of years ago and have since expanded my collection to all the episodes along with clarkson's movies

the winter olympics episode is alright, they have better, but i just love the crazy **** they think up................and the show has great photography and filming style

and soundtrack.

Amazing cinematography, the guy I showed it to kept thinking it was a commercial or some sort of Imax nature program. What other motoring show has helicopter aerials of everything with great filters and their cameras.
