New Idea For 4 Years Down The Road
I was just thinking about this, cause two of my injured players seem to have the same thing on rotoworld.com...
"won't play until after Olympics"
Now, does that mean that they are healthy right now, but can't play, cause they're not Olympians? What about those players who get injured at the games, that's unfair to those GMs if they didn't get hurt in NHL play.
I know that one isn't avoidable, and it's the risk someone took by relying on Dom Hasek. But an extra two weeks without a player seems like a long time, especially if they are theoretically ready to roll.
What if in 2010... again I know this is a long time away, but better to talk about it when it's a hot topic... we turn off injuries, unless the player has been deemed unable to return for the season by the Olympic break.
Injuries are going to happen... look at Theodore (sorry Goffe)... but we're at a huge disadvantage durring these 2 weeks when it comes to recovered players. Just asking the league to look at the idea.
You non-playoff, playing spoiler friend... Prottotype.
