I can't tell whether it is an Autobot or a Decepticon.

I'd put my money on it being an autobot. They were typically the land vehicles until the decepticons came out with the evil semi and his evil road crew that morphed into a big guy...but I digress..

I'm a little young for transformers, but I remember thinking when I saw that evil semi, "Those decepticon bastids!"

What? Motomaster and the Stunticons got you riled up?

P.S. they combine to form Menasor.

I didn't like them ripping off Optimus, he was beyond reproach in my 5 year old eyes.

I don't think I've watched enough TV to know a lot about those Transformers... nor have I seen the movie.

All I know about them are the names of: Optimus Prime and Megatron.

shows how much I know...

Jesus Christ! How young are you? Any kid growing up in the early/mid 80's should know GI Joe, Transformers and TMNT..

The 1986 movie is like the wierdest thing. It has all these celebrities that just cashed out for the buck like Eric Idle, Leonard Nimoy, Robert Stack, and the last ever performance of Orsen Welles who died during it.

The first 20 minutes of that movie was life altering. You just sat back in awe as they killed half of the toys you had in your toy hamper...and then Optimus...

That's pretty cool, but if it doesn't come with the sound effect, it just isn't worth it.

I'll never forgive my 3rd grade teacher (Mrs. Cox) for losing the front landing wheel from my Megatron. I snuck it into class and was rolling it on my desk... The rest is history.

Bitch.

ps, I want one too.

edit, god my spelling is bad today

You're right, it works. As long as the K's are guttaral.

My favourite Transformers were the Dinobots (Grimlock, Sludge, Snarl, and the gang). They were crazy, so you were never really sure if you could trust them. I could identify with that.

This is so very true. You watched the TV show every week where NO ONE dies and all of a sudden during the movie they are dropping like flies. At one level it was cool, but at another level I was quite disturbed. I have a vivid memory of seeing the Ambulance guy collapse with flames coming out of his eyes. Poor SOB.

That was Ratchet. Along with him, Ironhide and Brawn died as well. I think Prowl died as well. My memory is fading but I used to be able to mimic like the first hour of that movie word for word.

Man, I was ****ed off at Hot Rod when Prime had Megatron at his mercy

And the reason all those Autobots died so easily was explained at the beginning of the movie. The Decepticons were winning the Cybertron wars and the Autobots were running short on Energon cubes. So from my understanding the Autobots on that space ship were weak to begin with
