If anyone plays this, hopefully you can help.

I'm a product registered user on ea.simcity.com and am trying to use the lot exchange... problem is, that when i try to download a lot, it keeps saying "Unable to process your request at this time". It has dones this ever since i got the game, and have been using crappy simtropolis since, but am fed up.

Anyone know how to get it working?

Did this too, didn't work.

This error message means that you are not using Microsoft Java VM, which is what the web exchange uses for downloading and uploading. The exchange downloads will perform more quickly and more stably with Microsoft Java VM when you are using Internet Explorer or the AOL browser. Follow these instructions on installing the newest version of Microsoft Java VM, and removing Sun Java Plug-in:

1. Download the latest version of Microsoft VM:
   1. Click the following link to download Microsoft Java VM http://www.wildtangent.com/install/jvm/msjavx86_3805.exe
   2. Click the Save button.
   3. From the Save As window click the Save button.
      • Note: This by default will save to your Desktop.
   4. Once the file finishes downloading, double click on the msjavx86_3805.exe file on your desktop to start the installation.
   5. When prompted Would you like to install the Microsoft VM? click Yes.
   6. When the installation is complete, restart your computer for the changes to take effect
