Not a huge fan or anything. But I've been listening to Sonic here in Edmonton for the past 3 weeks and do enjoy their stuff that they put on the airwaves up here. Too bad Sonics online streaming dies out in the afternoon though....I might have to thug Cosmic Stan so I can get my hands on a radio.

I like Death Cab for Cutie, but I recently saw them live on SNL or some such show. Not much of a live act. No personality.

Also coming,

Feb 18th - New Pornographers

Mar 3 - Bob Mould

April - Metric

Erm.. about half of that radio got thrown in pieces at Steven Reinprecht when Stan was coaching the Flyers...I met Cosmic Stan one day in November, he told me about living in a duplex then a shed and how he was a substance abuser not a drug addict. Well it was a guy I call Cosmic Stan.

Are you saying Death Cab and Franz Ferdinand are on the same bill, or are they playing seperate shows? I'm not big on Death Cab, but I'd check out Franz..that'd be a fun show.

they are playing the same show. I, personally, will be leaving when Death Cab is done. FF = garbage.

Interesting...seems like a good deal to see both bands.

Unlike you however, I would rather see FF, so I'll show up late. I've never understood why people love, or even like, Death Cab. Franz Ferdinand, while overhyped as hell, would at least be a fun entertaining live show IMO.

Hmmm, I'd definitely go check out Bob if I knew he was playing the entire Beaster album along with some Husker Du...
