Default Hitmen clinch playoff spot

With an impressive 4-1 win over Portland tonight, the Hitmen have become the first team in the WHL to clinch a playoff berth with 77 points.

Get your playoff tickets early.

And I would say right now Justin Pogge has to be the front runner for the MVP of the dub. Congrats on a great regular season thus far.

Think the Laffs have a keeper in Pogge?

I was never a big fan of his technical skills, but boy is he getting the job done in amazing fashion.

Didn't the Tigers clinch a playoff berth tonight too?

Snakeeye, I know in seasons past you have been a huge critic of Kisio. Has that changed now? (Genuine question. Not trolling!)

Yeah, Medicine Hat clinched as well.

Kisio has been a better coach now that he has more experience, but he still has a lot of flaws. He's still not great at picking the team up when things go bad, and for whatever reason, he loves to let the team try that stupid vertical stretch pass 30 times a game - and works once if we are lucky.

There's also the question of why Moscaluk and another player quit the team.

Dave Lowry has been a very very very big help

There is that too. I wouldnt mind at all if Kisio went back up to the press box and let Lowry have the reins behind the bench.
