Well, I know the "Legal escort services" part is crap, if they are insinuating that they can use them to hire prositutes.

Otherwise, what's the issue? If Detroit want cuban cigars, get their gov't to drop the embargo on Cuba.

The drinking age in Michigan is 21, in Ont. it is 19. Its not like it was just changed for the superbowl.

And strip clubs are nothing new in Windsor, or Sarnia, or St.Catherines, or any Ontario border city.

So the only real difference here is that the Superbowl is being held across the river. I can only begin to imagine the expliots that went on when the SB was held in NOLA!

Windsor rules. So much fun in one small city. And the proximity to Detroit doesn't hurt either.

On a side note, my brother was telling me how the Detroit media is really bad-mouthing Windsor in an effort to keep people from crossing the boarder. Pretty funny really when Detroit is bad-mouthing another city. (Although I personally really like Detroit)

Actually, you're wrong. Prostitution is legal in Canada. The only thing that is illegal is public communication for the purpose of prostitution. Telephone conversations are considered private conversations. How does one arrange for an escort? They use the telephone thus circumventing the public communication pitfall concerning prostitution.
