Nope...Markennen is still on the Oilers. He backs up Conklin.

...and the Wallin on Carolina is Nicolas Wallin.

The funniest thing I've found in the game so far is that the announcers call Jason Spezza "Spee-zah" instead of "Spetz-ah". You would think professional ESPN analysts would know how to pronounce the name of a 20 goal/50 point player...

Well, to be fair the Oiler's did trade Markanen to the Rangers for Leetch's rights, only to be re-aquired in the Nedved deal.

oh it was last summer they traded him? Wow, it seemed like spring, so all year salo and conklin, then salo to colorado, and markannen back to oil...

There are so many instances in that game where names are misprounounced. Regehr is done wrong, and many many others. Gary Thorne does the commentating along with Bill Clement, and while I don't mind Clement, Thorne is awful. He's a baseball announcer!

The other about that game that gets my undies in a bundle is how many times spearing is called. I've since turned the frequency of it DOWN, but man ever penalty was spearing...??? Who calls spearing anymore?????
