Captain Peca Shipped Out
Los Angeles, CA (Playboy Mansion) - In yet another move from the Playboy Mansion, GM Sra announced the trade of Captain Mike Peca to the Winnipeg Jets. Packing their bags for the frozen tundra of Winnipeg are Mike Peca, Ivan Novoseltsev and recently acquired Niclas Havelid. Luxury accomodations on the Playboy Jet have been made for Matt Cooke and Andrew Brunette who will be calling the Playboy Mansion home.
"We are excited to announce the arrival of both Matt Cooke and Andrew Brunette who will bring different elements to our club. We are looking at night and day here where Matt will bring great defensive awareness and Andrew should provide some pop in the lineup. It is a sad day to see the departure of Peca. He was a great leader in his time here and provided yeoman's duty on our top line. We wish him the best of luck on his new team." said GM Sra, commenting on the recent move.
Cook and Brunette will begin to see extensive action as soon as possible. Cook, who arrives with an injury, will receive the world famous rehabilitation that only the Bunny Hospital can provide. He was noticeable enthusiastic when told he would be "recovering" in such a top flight facility.
Noteable Notes: Derek Morris did not return calls yesterday regarding his possible move to Toronto. Rumors are that a deal is close to completion. Eric Brewer has been named Captain of the team.
