If the superstar wingers are gone, I feel the flames will lean defencemen with picks 3-6 unless they see Lawrence or Malhotra as the future #1 centre.
Defenders take longer to develop so it would be good to get another stud one this draft, as they still have a longer term hole there especially on the left side. Smit for me, but I’d be fine with any on the board.
I like bjorck too, just feel he’s a step back and likely to play as a winger.
All these extra picks make this quite fun as they’ll be able to take high upside, riskier picks with their later first and 2nd rounders.
