No because Alberta will be a sovereign nation by then. We’ll have our own team.

Sorry, I was reading it quickly as just an Olympian, not Canadian Olympian.

Is his wife from here? If so, I would give it like a 20% chance. If she is a Coloradianesianite, then no chance.

Wolf and maybe McKenna, Stenberg or Verhoeff depending on how the draft turns out. Parekh has a chance depending on how long it takes him to become an all around defender.

I think, aside from Parekh and Reschny and whoever Calgary drafts, Bahl might have a shot, if they decide (as in the 2004 World Cup) that a defensive defenceman is an asset.
In 2004 they put Regher on the team and I recall his assignment in the semis was Jagr. Canada won in OT and Jagr had zero points.

Yea before this year I would have said no shot but the physical edge Bahl has seemingly added to his game this season turns him into a bit of a darkhorse for me.
If he can flourish as the Tanev-type security blanket to a Parekh the next couple seasons I could see them giving him a long hard look on a team that's going to have plenty of offensively inclined D.
