Default Forum Structure for Next Olympics?

I'm probably in the minority, but i watch pretty much everything on replay, so wading into the forums is a spoiler risk. And posting about less prominent events seems pointless as it gets lost in the wash pretty quickly.

So what if we had an ongoing thread for each grouping of events:

Curling
Short Track
Long Track
Ski Racing (Alpine + Ski Cross)
Freestyle Skiing (new school + moguls + aerials)
Snowboarding (freestyle and racing)
Figure Skating
Sliding
Nordic Stuff (biathlon + XC + Jumping + SkiMo)
Women's Hockey General
Men's Hockey General (will get duplicated in main forum and that's fine)

But I'd hate to lose CofR's amazing summaries if he's still willing to do them, so maybe they could continue as more of a GDT lead up thread that tries to stay spoiler free? It would be a good way to point out events that are worth a watch without giving away the results.

We’ve got 4 years of planning!

What about the summer Olympics in 2 years?

I like the idea of sport specific threads for sure, maybe designated threads for bigger high profile games and events? I think it would definitely be easy to do for Winter Games but there's just so many more sports and events in the summer that it could get tough, it could definitely still be done though.

Keeping a spoiler free place available to communicate is a good idea!

I enjoy the current daily threads as I often find out about some event that wasn't on my radar at all that has a Canadian doing something interesting. I do understand the spoiler concerns though.
