I wasn't sure about it at first, but the men's alpine Team Combined was actually really good. I wonder if Shiffrin and Vonn would have been paired if Vonn was still there and did well.

The Team Biathlon relay the other day was awesome, too.

I didn't like the biathlon relay due to spare bullets which don't exist in individual biathlon. Italy missed 7 shots and still got silver.

Norwegian biathlete Holm Lægreid wins bronze medal, then, totally unprompted, reveals he cheated on his GF, she left him, and he wants to apologize publicly hoping she takes him back.

In the interview with NRK, he first started by thanking everyone who has helped him on the path to his first individual Olympic medal.
'And then there's someone I wanted to share it with who might not be watching today. Six months ago I met the love of my life. The most beautiful and kindest person in the world. Three months ago I made my biggest mistake and cheated on her, and I told her about it a week ago. It's been the worst week of my life, he says tearfully in the interview.'

What better way to win back the love of your life than to humiliate her on international television?

The American women are so superior to the Canadians recently we’re probably closer to the 3rd best team than we are to the USA.

I read we got outscored 27-4 in the rivalry series a few months ago.

EDIT: It was 24-7 over 4 games but that doesn't make it any less dominant.

Canada went experience over young speed. Americans did opposite and it shows.

Some quality analysis from the panel.

Canada getting absolutely dominated but the real story is the Americans diving. Yes that’s why we’re losing.

He didn't name her, took responsibility, and humiliated himself for eternity.

It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for him.
