It would have been nice to see Gridin get a goal. However, can't complain about the result. Keep it going.

Hopefully Wolf can bounce back next season.
Because he isn't playing well.

Oilers get penguins on back to back tomorrow? Of course. And they said Silovs is starting? Would love if they started skinner and he shut those idiots out.

The effort was pretty decent. The young guys looked ok, especially Gridin.
But man, the lack of offensive skill is very evident. Especially down the middle. Bad team is bad.

The guy has always been the biggest cheerleader for whoever is playing against the Flames. Now that the Flames are in full tank mode, it feels like punching down and isn't in any way necessary. The Flames are losing.... Thanks Hhhhhrudey.
Yes, that's what happens when you trade all your top players away for draft picks. We really don't need you emphasize what a great defensive play Kulak made against someone who was playing in the AHL last week.

lmao there's people out there that think bottom feeding and rebuilding teams are capable of being fun to watch?
Anyway, good loss. This keeps us down in the bottom four. Vancouver is winning at the moment too.

This is perfectly fine.
Embrace being bad.
It's only for hopefully a short time.
The future will be bright.

Time to start giving Cooley half the games. He has more than earned it.

It actually looks like the Flames traded their heart away with Andersson.
This is good. They couldn't afford to climb up further and put themselves outside of the reach of the top 4. The flames organization needs to draft a top talent in June and it looks like the first trade may be enough to seal the deal.
Hopefully they can add another 1st in this draft from one of their other trade targets too.
Embrace the tank, we may only need to be bottom of the barrel this year and next to fill out the future core that will carry the team to a level they haven't reached in decades.

It'll be fun when Parekh, Reschny, and whoever they draft this year start playing. It's fun to watch high skilled young players lose.... Right now.... Not so fun. There's less than half a season left, and this is likely the low point, with, at the very least, Parekh likely to play next season.
