Wonder if Brzustewicz is related to the Wranglers Brzustewicz. Guessing yes. Both from Washington.

Year after year it seems our prospects get absolutely stiffed during selections.
Some terrible prospects being picked ahead of our guys.

The younger Bru plays for the Knights and was drafted late first round by the Stars last season.

I think it's hard for someone like Wyttenbach who wasn't on the radar earlier. There is a stubbornness sometimes and past reputation is a factor, whether it should be or not.
I am a little more surprised about Potter given his pedigree.

Potter as a first round pick, you'd like to think he would be on the team. Is it a position thing?

Good.
Dakoda? With a D. Then slap in a hyphenated name after? Parents have to be C-words.

Potter had a really slow start, like .5 ppg, so thinking that hurt his case. Unfortunate timing for him.

Potter was very good at the summer showcase series too and was bumped up to top line at times - so that's really weird

Just accept the fact that the World (less countries we don't like) Juniors and even the Senior Olympic teams are all an old boys club. Remember back years ago, pre 2005 when the teams would be just about all OHL players and didn't win anything. Hockey Canada put Brent Sutter in charge and he picked kids who could play from across Canada and they smoked everyone for years.
The OHL brass and NHL teams complained their kids weren't getting the exposure so Brent was out and we went back to #### shows like Dave Cameron again.

Mooney is the one that stands out as a questionable choice. Wyttenbach should have made it over him. Mooney was with the USNDP, Wyttenbach wasn't. Probably same reason Hurlbert was snubbed
