Woah, it's bold putting Bo on. Obviously, his hitting is really important.
But wow.
I'm not sure it's "bold" to put a guy who's arguably the best hitter in the AL on a world series roster. If he's the only guy on the roster not hitting this series, I'll be happy to eat some crow. It's not like he's Santander that had been out since May or whatever it was....Bo is going to rake, I can feel it. Putting France on the roster....maybe bold, but I like that move too.
I guess they like his bat better, as he wouldn't be utilized as a pinch runner like Loperfido could be. and 1B is Vladdy's spot so its not like he can be used as a defensive sub either.

Interesting to see Rodriguez off the roster unless injured. I think he was slightly better than Little (by my eye test), but neither was particularly great down the stretch. Probably the Jays thinking about Freeman and Ohtani's bats.
The France addition is curious. He does have a 1.032OPS against the Dodgers this season in 5 games. So they must like the way he matches up against certain dodger pitchers.
For France and Bichette...if they are injured can they be replaced? I know for previous series they could, and then wouldn't be able to play in the next round, but not sure how that works in the World Series.
If they can be replaced it opens up an interesting wrinkle where they could be replaced if the Jays feel like they need a different look.

i think they can be replaced but it requires more scrutiny, special MLB permission, rather than just being out for the next series.

If they bring out Kelly Gruber, they need to have Anne Murray sing the National anthem that night.
I still remember how he was like "0 for the Century" against the Braves and the ALCS and about the most useless hitter on the planet by that time. Fans were done with him, and out of nowhere he hits a home run off Steve Avery in the 8th to tie the game. I remember him saying how the only person he recognized rounding third was Anne Murray who had sung the anthem so he pointed at her.
