Not being able to finish biting us. Flames should've been up by 4 or 5 goals, but alas. Hofer played well too.
Honestly, not a bad effort. I'm really impressed by our young players. Gridin, Parekh, Coronato etc. Play them more.
Losses are much easier to swallow if they put in an effort like that.

Played well, should have ran away with it but didn't finish. Blues hung around and capitalized on their chances.
ZP and Gridin had good games...Honzek mostly good but 2 of the goals might be on him.

I had a feeling not burying the chances in the first 40 would bite them in the a$$
Flames were the better team for 45ish minutes, but couldn't finish.
The youth looked good, Parekh was as advertised when he jumped into the play.
Honzek looked good out there and had some jump.
Farabee and Frost are both way better now that they are away from Torts shackles and had an offseason to enjoy hockey again.
Coleman looks slow and fighting it, but have faith he will get it going soon.
Even if we lose games like this it'll be another fun season.

That was a very entertaining loss.
I loved what I saw from Honzek, Gridin, Parekh, Farabee, Frost and Coronato tonight.
The Flames were coming in waves, and simply didn't get the bounces. If they play like they did today they'll make the playoffs.

Disappointing result but some good in there too like FF ( Frost Farabee) and Coranato obviously. Wolf can't do it all every night.

Flames were dominate through the first 40 minutes and were unlucky not to have the lead going into the third period. The young guys were really impressive and had a lot of jump. Didn’t like the play of some of the vets like Weegar.
Wolf struggled a bit and was the second best goalie on the ice. You’re not going to win many games with that formula. If the opposition is putting up four or more, chances are that’s going to result in a loss for the Flames. The offensive capabilities of this team are not able to sustain that type of game.
I don’t get the Huska finger pointing. Missed opportunities through 40 minutes shouldn’t fall on the shoulders of the coach. Sure, there is room for improvement with some of the roster decisions but we lost because of our lack of ability to finish and a bad stretch in the third. The underlying issue with this group is lack of top end talent.

That was less than ideal, but take the positives and move along.

As I said in the end of the GT something along the lines of this.
Too bad about the result. They just do not have the high end skill to produce more goals and make it real difficult on opposing goalies.
The effort is more than there, they just suck too much to do much better because they lack the talent.

Was at the game. Flames out played them majority of the game. Just a lack of finish which I guess stem’s from an overall lack of talent but they really should have won that game. St Louis didn’t look that good.

He was fine. Neither goals scored there were his fault at all. 2 perfect tip goals.

The team might be bad this year.
Which for a number of reasons wouldn't be a terrible thing.
